My husband and I have been going here frequently ever since it opened and there really is no bad thing to say about it. Burgeon has my all time favorite beer in San Diego (personal favorites: Clever Kiwi & Pistil). The service is always stellar - Burgeon employees are the NICEST. Jonathan (JP) always has the best attitude and makes sure you get your drinks, food, service, etc. all so quickly! And then to top it all off - they truly have the best food. I've been to many many breweries (in San Diego and outside of it) and I'd have to say Burgeon has the best food I've ever had at a brewery. I would've never guessed living in San Diego that the best fish tacos would come from this place but I've tested them multiple times and they truly are THE BEST FISH TACOS. We highly recommend this place - you won't be disappointed.

Excellent place for a beer & food. They offer a very wide choice of (draft) beers and I was very happy with my choice (Clever Kiwi). Most of all, I strongly appreciated the 2cm (1 inch ?) of foam (!!) on my beer. 1st time after 3weeks of roadtrip throughout the US, that I got a draft beer with foam. As a Belgian citizen, knowing a few things about beer 😉, a beer without foam looks/tasts less attractive. So thumbs up for the 'Burgeon at the Arbor'. We also appreciated the laid-back atmosphere (we could walk-in & choose our table, no waiting to be seated) and the tasty food. Good burgers (both the real deal & the Impossible burger one), excellent flatbread pizza and good spicy chicken wings. Thanks for the nice experience 👍🍺🍕🍔🙌

Great neighborhood hangout with fantastic portfolio of beers, a nice wine list, and several non-alcoholic drinks; hence there's something for everyone. Interior is beautiful, comfortable, and classy and the staff is incredible. I usually go in post-work or post-gym since it's on my way home (and great if I happen to be with my dog given the canine-friendly, outdoor patio). The food from the scratch kitchen is always fresh and delicious and made-to-order. Try the insanely good garlic fries, tacos, great burger, excellent Ahi salad, tacos, calamari, wings, and chicken sandwiches. Also some vegetarian dishes that are quite tasty. If you're up for dessert you will NOT be disappointed. Amazing. It's one of those everybody-knows-your-name places.

This cozy brewery is definitely a must visit! From the friendly staff to the delicious food and beers, you can't go wrong. Tried the chef special (shrimp California burrito) and the carne asada tacos; both of which we'd definitely try again. I also love how frequently they change out for new beers which keeps it different and exciting. Don't sleep on this spot!

Can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place as it is my FAVORITE beer spot!! The beers are great, with new releases just about every week. I love their hazy IPAs and my favorites are Citra-by-the-Sea and Juice Press. The food is amazing, everything is delicious and they change menus seasonally. But my favorite part is the amazing staff!!! Every single person that works here is so friendly and makes everyone feel so comfortable and welcome. And I literally mean everyone, from the GM to the bartenders, servers, and kitchen. Oh and they also play sports, including all Padres games. Love this place!!

Amazing beers. Terrific food. Top notch service. We came on a very busy Friday night. Our server was super kind, very helpful, and very attentive. We had our beers in what felt like a matter of seconds and our food came piling out only minutes later. Everything was sublime. Every when all the tables were full, and things were "popping" we still got everything we needed. Would highly recommend burgeon. Never disappoints.
