Keg Orders

Interested in purchasing a keg? We’ve got you! Follow these easy steps to get your hands on fresh Burgeon beer on tap.

1. Call the Carlsbad taproom during opening hours for keg availability, pricing, and to place your order.
2. Purchase your keg and make your keg deposit when you pick up your order.
3. Enjoy!
4. Return your keg and receive your deposit refund.

  • ​​Availability

    We offer 1/6 barrel kegs of core brands and special releases for purchase. Beer options are subject to availability based on current inventory. We’ll do our best to accommodate!

  • Pricing

    Pricing varies based on beer style. A $100 deposit is collected at keg purchase. The deposit is refunded when you return the empty keg to the Carlsbad taproom.

  • Requirements

    - Valid government-issued photo ID
    - Must be at least 21 years old

Keg Ordering FAQ

In a 1/6 barrel keg (also known as a sixtel), there are (41) 16oz beers.

Please request a keg sale at least (3) days prior to your preferred pick up. Kegs can generally be reserved for the weekend provided we receive the order by the end of service on Wednesday. After Wednesday, kegs are available on a first come first serve basis and selection may be limited.

All order pickups and returns are done at our Carlsbad brewery & taproom during taproom business hours. You can check the most updated taproom hours here.

Our team will process your deposit refund when you return your empty to the taproom. Your refund may be labeled as pending when first issued and will usually post to your account within 1-4 business days.

We do not provide keg pumps, but your local BevMo rents them for a few bucks, or they can be purchased online!

We do not provide cooling containers or ice, but there are lots of options at your local grocery stores.

We do not offer keg deliveries or shipments at this time, but come grab a pint in Carlsbad when you pick up your keg!

Kegs for personal use must be returned within 90 days.

If dispensing with CO2 and kept cold, a keg will last for at least three months. If dispensing with a manual tap, your beer will generally stay fresh for approximately 12 hours.
