Job Title: Sales Representative
Position Status: Full-time; Salaried
Pay Rate: $30,000/Year, Plus Commission

Position Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for and not limited to selling kegs/cans, generating new accounts, attending events and mapping out the San Diego County territory. Must be willing to work at least 40 hours per week. The primary focus will be to manage existing accounts within territory, prospect for new accounts, run tastings, and sell wholesale kegs and cans.


  • Must be at least 21 years of age 
  • Minimum of two years customer service experience
  • Minimum of two years sales experience
  • Passion for craft beer and professional appearance required
  • Must maintain friendly demeanor
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Physical ability to lift up to 170 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend or lift for extended periods of time 
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays
  • Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and emergency situations in a swift manner
  • Knowledge of craft beer styles and flavors

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and maintain a positive attitude
  • Produce sales orders in EKOS 
  • Actively prospect for accounts in territory
  • Report to Dylan Branin
  • Routinely schedule tastings
  • Provide all potential customers with unforgettable tasting experience
  • Always be early to appointments
  • Contact all accounts for orders each week
  • Clean organize and fill growlers for tastings
  • Promote and represent Burgeon Beer Co. in a positive manner
  • Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
  • Stay up to date on all product offerings
  • Provide special event support when needed 
  • Communicate any escalated issues or grievances to supervisor
  • Required to attend all mandatory staff meetings (unless absence has been excused)
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by company co-founders
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all accounts
  • Increase sales on a monthly basis
  • Map out routes in a timely manner
  • Provide in depth beer descriptions
  • Represent Burgeon Beer in a positive manner
