Job Title: Orange County Sales Representative
Position Status: Full-time; Salaried
Pay Rate: $30,000/Year, Plus Commission

Position Summary
Sales Representative will be responsible for and not limited to selling kegs and cases, generating new accounts, attending events, and providing customer service to accounts within territory. Must be willing to work at least 40 hours per week. Primary focus will be to generate revenue in assigned territory by selling kegs and cases to customer base, while also focusing on opening new accounts.

Qualifications

  • Orange County resident preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of four years customer service experience
  • Minimum of two years of Sales experience
  • Passion for craft beer and professional appearance required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Physical ability to lift up to 170 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend or lift for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays
  • Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and emergency situations in a swift manner
  • Knowledge of craft beer styles and flavors

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with accounts and submit Sales Orders
  • Effectively prospect and open new accounts
  • Greet customers and maintain a positive attitude
  • Organize route demands to efficiently manage workload
  • Actively prospect for accounts in territory
  • Report to Sales Manager Dylan Branin
  • Promote and represent Burgeon Beer Co. in a positive manner
  • Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
  • Stay up to date on all product offerings
  • Provide special event support when needed
  • Communicate any escalated issues or grievances to supervisor
  • Required to attend all mandatory staff meetings (unless absence has been excused)
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all accounts
  • Map out routes in a timely manner
  • Provide in depth beer descriptions
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by company co-founders
