Job Summary

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for and not limited to delivering beer, merchandising, maintaining and cleaning draft lines. Must be willing to work at least 40 hours per week. Primary focus will be to efficiently map out routes, deliver in a timely manner and maintain quality standards set by Burgeon Beer Co. Deliveries will be run four times a week (subject to change). 

Hours: Tuesday-Friday; 5:00am - 3:00pm (10 hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet accounts with a positive attitude
• Deliver and merchandise grocery stores
• Run local customer deliveries
• Merchandise grocery stores
• Clean draft lines and trouble shoot problems at accounts
• Credit accounts and manage deliveries in EKOS 
• Always drive company vehicles in safe manner
• Safely operate company forklifts
• Report to Distribution Manager
• Promote and represent Burgeon Beer Co. in a positive manner
• Respond to customer inquiries
• Stay up to date on all product offerings
• Provide special event support when needed 
• Communicate any escalated issues or grievances to supervisor
• Required to attend all mandatory staff meetings (unless absence has been excused)
• Efficiently and safely deliver beer to accounts
• Maintain a positive relationship with all accounts
• Map out routes in a timely manner
• Deliver kegs in a timely manner
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by company co-founders

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
• Passion for craft beer and professional appearance required
• Must maintain friendly demeanor
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Physical ability to lift up to 200 pounds
• Ability to stand, sit, bend or lift for extended periods of time
• Must be able to enforce safety regulations
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays
• Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and emergency situations in a swift manner
